The magazine of the forest sector
Dear friends and B.Forest readers,
Dear friends and B.Forest readers,
We’ve arrived at our final issue of the year and the time for us to think of two crucial elements: everything we’ve learned in the year 2019 and how we’re going to overcome new challenges from 2020 onward. For those with a keen eye the lessons learned in this and in previous years will serve as the foundation for smart and efficient planning for all future operations.
This is the main theme of this month’s first special article, which deals with the fluctuations in the international pulp prices as well as other forestry products and discusses some of the main factors behind this oscillating costs in international pulp commerce. We also have a special report on the main guidelines of Brazil’s national plan for the development of cultivated forests, with the help of specialists in public policies for the forestry segment. Moreover, this issue also brings an analysis of the Norwegian forestry sector and technical details of new product launches by major market manufacturers.
And our special guest this month is the Forestry & Sourcing Director at International Paper in Brazil, Fabiano Rodrigues, with nearly two decades of experience in one of the world’s leading players in this industry. Fabiano shares his valuable insights on the market and forestry careers. Don’t miss it!
